Locality:At Winding Creek/Bailey Woods site owned and managed by the McHenry County Conservation District. Population located in dry-mesic silt loam forest south and east of the Nippersink Creek. Site is located ~2 miles west of Hebron, IL, off State Route 173.
Comments:Site owned and managed by the McHenry County Conservation District. Discovered in the southwest corner of the Bailey parcel (Unit 2). Associates: Quercus rubra, Prunus serotina, Rhamnus cathartica, Rubus occidentalis, Vitis riparia, and Ribes cynosbati. Population rather small, and hasn't climbed into the canopy yet. 9/10/2012 NIIPP: Population chemically treated in summer 2012.
