Comments:A lizard, roughly two feet in length (nose to tail) walked from the side of my yard, across the street into my neighbors driveway at about 7:00 PM. It stayed under their car (on the driveway) for roughly 5 minutes. When I approached the lizard, it walked into the grass and into the bushes of another house. The lizard was black and white--had somewhat of a banded pattern. Looked scaly but not shiny. The head was small in comparison to the body with a small snout. Feet did not appear to be webbed. The tail was very long. There are houses directly behind my house (which is the direction the lizard came from); however, behind those houses there is a large pond backed by uncultivated land/woods.
