Habitat:Aquatic: Saltwater
Locality:Biscayne Bay, vicinity of the Deering Estate
Comments:A single mute swan was seen on the western shoreline of Biscayne Bay. At first, its location was several feet away from the boat channel that passes close to Chicken Key. It was approximately 1/2 mile directly north of Chicken Key. I followed it in my canoe for a long time as it swam south along the shoreline to Deering Estate. A friend had spotted it near same location last weekend.
