Life Cycle
Adult G. religiosa is glossy black in plumage with white wing patches and yellow wattles below and behind the eye. Hill myna average 10.6-11.8 in. (27-30 cm) in length. During reproduction, both sexes participate in nest construction by filling a tree cavity with twigs, leaves, and feathers. Females lay 1-3 eggs in a clutch. Both males and females will incubate the eggs for 14-17 days with young fledging the nest approximately 25-28 days after hatching.
